Scrip is the means of fundraising for DRCS. It is a partnership with hundreds and hundreds of local retailers that contribute a portion of the money we spend with them back to the school.

It is that easy. We simply shop and the retailers give back to the school a percentage of what we spend.

For example, Stater Brothers will give the school six percent of every dollar we spend there. Blockbuster will give fifteen percent back. Chili’s will give eleven percent back. Kirkorian will give ten percent back.

It works through gift cards that we have in the office. You can stop by anytime during office hours and purchase gift cards for just about any place you spend money.

Because fundraising is a necessity for the school, we have set a $330 requirement for each family ($330 received through the percentage given back to the school from the retailers.). But don’t panic with that number. Just grocery shopping alone will raise that much money for most families. If a family was to spend $250 twice a month from now until the end of June at Stater Brothers, they would raise $330.

Here is a short list of the companies that we can get Scrip from: Arco, Longs Drugs, Shell, Smart & Final, Big 5, Gottschalks, Home Depot, Lowes, Bath & Body, Borders, Walden Books, Barnes & Nobles, Hollywood Video, Best Buy, Applebee’s, Baskin-Robbins, Black Angus, Burger King, Carl’s Jr., Claim Jumper, Coco’s, Denny’s, Domino’s, KFC, Olive Garden, Starbucks.

We have many, many more retailers we can order from. Click here to see or print the order form. If you place an order for a retailer we don’t already have on hand by Tuesday, it will be available on Friday.

An Incentive...
Once you have reached the $330 percentage goal, any additional Scrip that you buy you’ll be able to keep half of it and apply it to next years registration and/or tuition.

An Option...
You may simply “buy-out” of Scrip if you choose. If you choose not to participate in Scrip you can write a check for $330 and it will be applied to your Scrip account.

"Do I have to keep track of how much Scrip I have purchased?"
No. Greg Sack will be keeping track of your account. If you are wondering where you stand, just give him a call at 882-3004.

"What if I don’t meet my $330 goal?"
We will keep you informed throughout the year of the status of your account. If there are special circumstances, please let us know. Reaching the goal shouldn’t be hard for most families.

"What if I am not around the school during office hours?"
Call the office and we can make arrangments for you drop off a order form and to pick up your Scrip when you pick up your child.

"What if I have questions or comments?"
